31ST ANNUAL SRF CONFERENCE: March 13-16, 2013 – Fortuna, CA First Call for Presenter Abstracts
SRF is posting the First Call for Abstracts for our 31st Annual
Salmonid Restoration Conference that will be March 13-16, 2013.
This year the conference will feature workshops on potential topics
that include fish passage design and engineering, analytical measures
to determine instream flow needs for salmonids, a DIDSON workshop, and
bioengineering techniques. Potential field tours include a Headwaters
Forest Tour: from Headwaters to Tidewaters, 30 Years of Restoration in
Sprowel Creek and Bull Creek, Humboldt Redwoods State Park, Urban
Stream, Coho-Bearing Creeks, and Marsh Restoration, Mad River and Mill
Creek Restoration, a Bioengineering tour, Estuary Restoration and
Off-channel Habitat Tour, and the Mad River Hatchery and Arcata
Wastewater Plants.
Potential Concurrent sessions include:
